If you are in your 20s and you like punk music, there is a very good chance that Blink 182 is at least part of the reason why.

My experience with the band is probably very similar to most. I heard a song that I liked (“Dammit,” in 1997, courtesy of Rochester’s only alternative radio station), I bought some records (Dude Ranch and Cheshire Cat, the latter being my first experience in mail order), I watched them blow up to be the biggest band for teenagers in the goddamn world (probably at least partially thanks to their nudity), then I got a little older and I found things that interested me more (Take Off Your Pants and Jacket was the jumping off point for me.
